This is THE finest album from Michel Huygen - Spain’s finest exponent of the Electronic Music genre - I have heard in years – End Of!

Huygen’s form of “cosmic music” is unique to him – a blending of cosmic atmospherics with gorgeous moving melodic themes and some elements of rhythm, and there’s no finer an example of these qualities to be found as those on display on this new 2014 release.

‘Nocny Lot’ features 2 Discs; each containing one long track that has index points that allow listener to select specific different individual passages of music is so desired. On the Double Disc Set you will hear all the classic NEURONIUM sounds and more – huge symphonic soundscapes, heavenly choirs, deep cosmic sounds, occasional rhythmic passages, and amazing background effects… and yes, he’s using Mellotron sounds again!
This music takes you to places that only NEURONIUM music can! It is what I would term as a piece of “audio art” of the most beautiful kind – it’s beautifully colourful tunes, textures and tones really touch a certain chord within me, just as I’m sure they will for you too!

As with other NEURONIUM albums have done so regularly in the past, Disc 1 opens with a passage of totally uplifting melodic music filled with spine-tingling emotion. A typically beautiful Huygen melody line is delivered with soothing grace and soars, flying high over a backdrop of cascading and spiralling cosmic effects – totally stunning stuff that literally took my breath away on first listen… and there’s a lot more of that to come!
Instead of Disc 1 petering out into forty odd minutes of drifting EM, the themes and styles keep on coming, changing course into new directions that lead into passages of untold beauty, the likes of which I haven’t experienced with a synth music album in a mighty long time. These high standards continue straight through into Disc 2, which closes with a sombre Mellotron driven track that addicts of the sound of this instrument will really love.

Seldom have I had such regular bouts of “goose bumps” whilst listening to a synth music album as I am doing with ‘Nocny Lot’. This really in emotionally charged ‘EM’ of THE highest calibre – Huygen really knows how to tug on the heart stings of his listeners, and on this album he is repeating that process more regularly than ever before!

For me, Michel Huygen is the Spanish equivalent of VANGELIS, because like the great Greek composer, he has that creative knack of being able to produce heart-wrenching melodies from thin air and make them stick.
This is music that will live on with you forever, taking you to new places every time you play the CD’s!

Believe me, if you’re a symphonic space music fan you just HAVE to have this album in your collection!

Now, here’s the killer blow – this is a ‘live’ recording… but had I not told you now, you would never have known until you hear the audiences responses towards the end of Disc 2 and the encores that follow!
Recorded in Gorlice (Poland) on July 12th 2013, this is just as beautifully recorded as any full-blown studio recording, plus the “ambience” of the concert hall and Michel being caught in the moment of his performance seems to generate an added emotional warmth to what is, in effect, all new music, but not just any new music - fantastic new music!
