In recent years Robert Schroeder has shown his musical diversity, but this time he thought: "It is once again time to remember the roots of EM in the 70’s and 80’s"
Of course Robert released the wonderfully spacey: ‘SphereWare’ a few years back, but ‘BackSpace’ could be seen as a masterful progression to that album.
He shows his purpose with the title track: ‘BackSpace’, at thirteen minutes, the longest track on the CD; resplendent in typical “Berlin School” styles, it gives you a perfect idea of what to expect from the rest of the album – sheer class.
‘BackSpace’ is a great record, recalling as it does the great days of 1980's Electronic Music – Highly recommended!
