‘VII’ is the FINAL volume in this highly successful series of Double Disc Sets containing rare and unreleased recordings, and it contains 10 NEW TRACKS!

With so many new, differently arranged and so-called “collector’s” compositions having been located at the Eastgate Studios within the few months leading up to the release of ‘Booster VII’, the decisions for the 7th and last Double CD out of the ‘Booster’ series were made very easily.

The ‘Booster’ CD’s have been a kind of a corner stone within the TD community, building some guidelines for those “newbies” who needed some help as to where to start discovering the various landmarks of TANGERINE DREAM’s work. Quite a reasonable number of newer compositions have also found their way into the public domain.
Eastgate did not want each ‘Booster’ to become a racehorse within a series of titles all running against each other. Therefore the decision was made to stop with this, the 7th in the long running series, and it has simultaneously become one of the BEST and RAREST sets of compositions from all decades on offer – of course subjectively speaking! ,

Now, with band-leader Edgar Froese’s passing just before its release, it seems all the more appropriate that ‘Volume VII’ should indeed be the final ‘Booster’.

‘Booster VII’ was released 16th February 2015.
