It's been a while since Lambert has released a new album and now in 2015, with a new synthesizer and unusual ideas he starts his ‘Drachenreise’ (Dragon’s Journey) - an adventure trip into new sounds and new harmonies, but with his own styling!

Lambert’s musical breakthrough came in 1991 when he released his first CD ‘Inside Out’ which earned him the honour of best newcomer on the famous German radio show ‘Schwingungen’.
Live work, further solo albums and collaborations have since supported his popular melodic Berlin-school style.
On ‘Drachenreise’ he uses this distinctive style and combines it with some new thinking: harmonically embedded voice effects, unusual chords, accessible melodies and touching sounds go into a mix with rhythmical sequencer tones.
‘Drachenreise’ is an interesting blend of electronic, sequencer-based music and new sounds, at once familiar and fresh sounding; it's a thoughtful and inspired take on the genre.
As a special guest, GANDALF plays electric guitar on the opening track: ‘Corona’, and his inclusion is an inspired move by Lambert as there are some similarities in the compositional styles of the two artists.
