Following on from their epic, ground breaking 2015 album: ‘Spirit' (on themes of grief and loss), COMEDY OF ERRORS now release their much-anticipated fourth album: ‘House Of The Mind’.
Not ones for shirking the big questions, we are now in the realms of the Jungian unconscious and non-linear time!
At once a departure and development from the previous album, ‘House Of The Mind’ is packed with the sublime style of Symphonic Rock we have come to expect from this band. Soaring anthemic melodies, classical influences and hard driven Progressive episodes all serve to create the narrative drive and emotional high points so characteristic of COMEDY OF ERRORS. ‘House Of The Mind’ takes this to the next level.

COMEDY OF ERRORS are Glasgow based and the line-up comprises: Joe Cairney (vocals), Jim Johnston (keyboards / guitars / backing vocals), Mark Spalding (guitars), Sam McCulloch (guitars), John Fitzgerald (bass) and Bruce Levick (drums). Together these experienced heads have put together another concept album filled with great playing and all the best elements that Prog can offer – soaring electric and tranquil acoustic guitars, grandiose and ethereal keyboard work, a tight, driving rhythm section unit, plus that all-important final element – excellent vocals!

If you’ve never been fortunate enough to experience their previous three independent albums, don’t let that stop you getting into them now – by any standards, COMEDY OF ERRORS are a top-notch band – these guys really do know the game, and they play like old hands!

If you are new to COMEDY OF ERRORS, GENESIS and CAMEL might be good starting influences, but if you are already a fan of other big Scottish Prog bands like: PALLAS, ABEL GANZ or MARILLION, or their south of the border counterparts: IQ and PENDRAGON, or even Sweden’s FLOWER KINGS, this amazing band are for you.
