CD+BLURAY of 2017 Steven Wilson Mixes & Unreleased material from the Multi-Tracks used to produce the band’s first three 70’s Vertigo LP’s, plus extras!

‘Three Piece Suite’ follows the highly successful reissues of: ‘Power And The Glory’ and ‘Octopus’, and features Steven Wilson Remixes of a specially curated selection of songs taken from the band’s first three albums.

These Remixes have been produced using all the Remaining Multi-Track Tapes that could be found from their first three Vertigo Label LP’s: ‘Gentle Giant’ (1970), ‘Acquiring The Taste’ (1971) and ‘Three Friends’ (1972).
These tapes comprise around half of the material originally issued across these three albums, with the remaining missing tracks all presumed to be lost!

‘Three Piece Suite’ is released in 3 Formats: This CD+BLURAY, a Single CD and a Double Vinyl LP.

The CD component in this 2-Disc Set contains all the 2017 Steven Wilson Stereo Mixes, namely: ‘Giant’, ‘Nothing At All’ and ‘Why Not?’ - from the debut album: ‘Gentle Giant’, ‘Pantagruel's Nativity’ and ‘The House, The Street, The Room’ - from ‘Acquiring The Taste’ and: ‘Schooldays’, ‘Peel The Paint’, ‘Mr. Class And Quality’ and ‘Three Friends’ - from ‘Three Friends’, as well as a Previously Unreleased pre-debut album song: ‘Freedom's Child’, plus there’s a Wilson 7” Edit of: ‘Nothing At All’ to round it all off.

The BLURAY component is a real box-set-on-a-single-disc treat, containing the 2017 Steven Wilson Mixes in 96/24 PCM Stereo and DTS 5.1 Surround Sound Master Audio.
The BLURAY also includes Animated Videos for all the Wilson Remixes, additional Instrumental Mixes and High Resolution Flat Transfers of All Three Albums in their COMPLETE Original Mix form.

The Booklet contains Interviews in which GENTLE GIANT’s members reflecting upon the writing and recording sessions, plus Steven Wilson and Tony Visconti additionally sharing their observations about the early days of one of Progressive Rock’s most influential bands.
The Booklet also includes Extensive Liner Notes by journalist Anil Prasad
