Double Live set featuring a concert recorded at University of Nottingham on 1st May 1976 during the UK tour to promote their ‘Chocolate Kings’ album!

PREMIATA FORNERIA MARCONI, better known in English speaking countries as P.F.M., were arguably the finest Italian Progressive rock band of the 1970’s and certainly one of the most well-known.
A successful act in their home land, they came to international attention when they signed to EMERSON, LAKE & PALMER’s label MANTICORE in 1973, recording a series of albums with English lyrics, some penned by ELP and KING CRIMSON lyricist Pete Sinfield.

Over the next four years they released four studio albums for the label: ‘Photos Of Ghosts’, ‘The World Became The World’, ‘Chocolate Kings’ and ‘Jet Lag’.
‘Celebration – Live in Nottingham 1976’ captures a powerful set by the line-up of: Bernardo Lanzetti (vocals), Flavio Premoli (keyboards / vocals), Franco Mussida (guitar / vocals), Franz Di Cioccio (drums / percussion / vocals), Mauro Pagani (woodwinds / violin) and Patrick Djivas (bass).

Featuring performances of such classic material as: ‘Four Holes In The Ground’, ‘Celebration’, ‘Paper Charms’ and ‘Chocolate Kings’ along with greatly extended versions of: ‘La Carroza Di Hans’ and ‘Alta Loma Five ‘Til Nine’, this album presents the entire concert over Two Discs and comes with an Illustrated Booklet with an Essay.

‘Celebration – Live In Nottingham 1976’ is released on 25th January 2018.
