Each concert was filmed in glorious HIGH DEFINITION (and mixed for 5.1 SURROUND SOUND) before a very small audience at London’s Metropolis Studios in Chiswick, and broadcast to ITV’s usual high standards. After a journey busking the streets of Europe to Les Cousins Club Soho 1965 via Hyde Park, Knebworth and Glastonbury Festivals, the Festival and Albert Halls – we arrive early April 2011 at Metropolis Studios Chiswick with 120 guests and the one and only Roy Harper. Roy Harper has a pedigree of no less than 21 studio albums and 14 ‘live’ albums behind him, plus he has been a guest vocalist with PINK FLOYD, and had LED ZEPPELIN write a song about him: 'Hats Off To Harper'. In fact, Roy Harper’s personal friend and associate list reads like a who's who of the music industry. After two Festival Hall appearances in 2010 he gave a performance early in 2011 to a 120 strong audience in West London’s Metropolis Studios in Chiswick. One of the jewels in the ITV Legends crown, Harper performed a set that covers five decades of music.
Additionally there is a sixteen-minute interview with Harper recorded at the end of the evening.
This breathtaking performance left all who were there drained and mesmerised - Simply unrepeatable, and it was all caught on camera - Highly Recommended!
