Classy 2019 US tribute to the music of original GENESIS guitarist Anthony Phillips, with the help of some big names from the Progressive Rock genre!

Sporting familiar looking artwork and packaged in a neat Digi-Pak, ‘Which Way The Wind Blows’ is an extremely well recorded and produced album that alongside the fixed band musicians features special guest appearances by the following hallowed bunch of names well-known to the UK – mainly Prog - music industry: Steve Hackett (ex-GENESIS – lead guitar), John Hackett (STEVE HACKETT BAND - flute), Noel McCalla (MANFRED MANN'S EARTHBAND 1991-2009 - vocal), Nick Magnus (ENID / STEVE HACKETT BAND synthesizer / piano), John Helliwell (SUPERTRAMP – saxophone), Kate St. John (DREAM ACADEMY - oboe) and others.

This superb CD really is well worth investing in! The ROCKING HORSE MUSIC CLUB crew really have put their own stamp on these nine highly attractive songs. Musically speaking, it is beautifully played memorable melodic Prog with stunning instrumental passages and superb vocal arrangements that brings these excellent Phillips compositions alive and into the sound of modern-day Progressive music, whilst using some instruments steeped in the sounds of the seventies Prog.
As well a bringing the magic of Anthony Phillips’ music to the fore, the overall result is a production something similar to the feel and sound of the ALAN PARSONS PROJECT, and even ‘Dark Side Of The Moon’ PINK FLOYD on the semi-instrumental, near nine-minute finale… and all that can’t be bad can it?

The core line-up of RHMC are: Justin Cohn (lead vocals), Brian Coombes (synthesizers / Mellotron / Optigan / Hammond / therevox / Taurus pedals / rhodes / toy piano / glockenspiel / harpsichord / timpani / percussion / backing vocals), Patrik Gochez (lead & backing vocals / piano / acoustic & electric guitars), Brendan Harisiades (bass), Mike McAdam (electric & acoustic guitars) and Eric Wagley (drums / percussion).
