This 2019 2-track EP is a seasonal Charity Single release from KAPREKAR’S CONSTANT - one of CDS Towers’ best loved melodic Progressive Rock bands!
This EP contains two attractive tracks that will appeal to fans of KAPREKAR’s the first two studio albums: ‘Fate Outsmarts Desire’ (2017) and ‘Depth Of Field’ (2019).
The main track: ‘All You Wish Yourself’ has a real Christmas feel with all the traditional sounds and trimmings and an amazing vocal from Dorie, plus it has an delightfully addictive hook, as does so much of the fantastic music that this incredible band delivers.
‘Call It A Memory’ is a typically classy melodic track from the band that would fit either of their previous albums. There’s another beautifully sensitive vocal performance from Dorie Jackson and a typical David Jackson sax solo.
A donation will be made to the homeless charity CRISIS for every sale made from this release.
CRISIS work directly with thousands of homeless people every year. They provide vital help so that people can rebuild their lives and are supported out of homelessness for good. They offer one to one support, advice and courses for homeless people in twelve areas across England, Scotland and Wales. How they help someone depends on their individual needs and situation. It could be with finding a home and settling in, getting new skills and finding a job, or help with their health and well-being.
Together with homeless people and CRISIS supporters, they campaign for the changes needed to end homelessness for good.
The line-up for this EP is: Al Nicholson (guitars / keyboards / mandolin), Mike Westergaard (piano / keyboards / backing vocals), Nick Jefferson (bass guitars / keyboards), Dorie Jackson (vocals), Bill Jefferson (vocals), David Jackson (VAN DER GRAAF GENERATOR - saxes / flutes / whistles) and Mark Walker (drums / percussion), with Phil Gould (drums on ‘Call It A Memory’).
‘All You Wish Yourself’ was released on 6th December 2019.
