In 2018, German EM musician Axel Stupplich's 7th solo album: ‘Seashore’ started a significant change in his music, leaving the traditional path of Berlin School music and moving towards more modern Chill-Out and Ambient styles.

‘Zen’ is the sequel to ‘Seashore’ and consequently follows the musical route that Axel started a few years ago.
‘Zen’ starts with peaceful pads and warm harmonies, which make you instantly relaxed …but don’t trust the peace for too long … Already in the 2nd track you will awaken suddenly and find yourself in a different world of deep basses and hypnotic beats. In the tracks that follow Axel plays with the tempo and creates a lot of different moods and sound sculptures. All 8 tracks on ‘ZEN’ are combined with each other to form one single piece of musical art.
Ideally it should be listened without any interruptions and with headphones.
