‘Les Femmes Electroniques’ is the most spectacular so far of the numbered limited run monthly CD editions of the extremely popular ‘Modular Sessions’ series!

‘Les Femmes Electroniques’ features a dozen electronic music guest creators from all over the world personally invited by composer and producer Mark Jenkins ('Tubular Bells for the Moog Synthesizer', ‘Space Dreams’ Remastered & Extended etc.).
For the first time in the ‘Modular’ series Mark stars alongside an almost all-female cast from the UK, USA, France, Japan, Germany and Turkey.

Kim Cosmik & Athena Fairchild form the UK with 'The Sands Of Arrakis' where beats & loops expert meets an ethereal singer and dancer for a sci-fi themed epic.
Stephanie Sante from the USA with 'Cherry Blossom/Ripples In Time' where two picturesque synth and sequencer pieces emerge from the atmospheric New Age composer.
Gilda Razani from Germany with 'Caves Of The Sierra De Arbres' that features the guest voice of Raymond Reddington over Theremin and digital wind instrument set over and atmospheric modular and synth backdrop.
Lia Shapiro from the USA with 'Trilogy' where three compelling loops and beats finished in the styles of John Carpenter, TANGERINE DREAM (around ‘Hyperborea’ period) and Vangelis are on show.
Moonya from France with 'Moonlight' where the genius of solo electro-pop with breathy vocals delivers over a rhythmic synthy song!
Ami-Bique from Japan with 'Soy Milk Und Sauerkraut' where hardcore overdriven synthesizers melt into an early 1970's kosmische keyboard piece!
Fulya Celikel from Turkey with 'Warriors Three' where characters from the legend of Thor meet on the plains of Asgard - just in time for the Twilight of the Gods!
Machka from France with 'Lifeforms' [with guest: Mathias Grassow from Germany] where you hear drones, loops, beats, sequences and mysterious animal noises - this track has a little of everything!
Anna-Maria Van Reusel from Germany with ‘The Old Gods, Laughing' [with guest: Dennis Slypen of SILVER GALAXY, an unusual modular synth/guitar led improvising band] all heard here plunging headlong towards an utterly crazed krautrock finale!

The packaging for ‘Les Femmes Electroniques’ again comes in a Limited Edition Card Sleeve and includes links to all of the musicians for you to follow. The sleeve notes can also be downloaded from the website, together with a dozen alternate covers which you can print yourself - one for each contributor - and an expanded photo gallery of all the participants.

As usual only 100 individually numbered copies of the disk will ever be available.
Collectors of any three from ‘Modular Sessions’ Issues 1-4 are entitled to a FREE ‘Bonus Alpha’ CD.
Collectors of any three from ‘Modular Sessions’ Issues 5-8 (Issue 8 is due around end August/early September) will be entitled to the forthcoming FREE ‘Bonus Beta’ CD. If you want to own every issue, move fast since stocks of Issues 1 and 2 are almost exhausted!
