Dutch Proggers re-record a selection of songs from their world-renowned back catalogue, including the hits: ‘Hocus Pocus’, ‘Sylvia’ and ‘House Of The King’!
‘Golden Oldies’ features the line-up of: Sir Thijs Van Leer (Hammond organ / keyboards / flute / vocals), Menno Gootjes (guitars), Bobby Jacobs (bass) and Pierre Van Der Linden (drums).
Van Leer and Van Der Linden are of course the two remaining band members from the original FOCUS line-up.
The album showcases the current line-up’s interpretation of classic FOCUS material, following on from the original recordings’ success in the Nike 2010 World Cup advertising and the 2014 reboot of the ‘Robocop’ movie.
‘Golden Oldies’ is released on 14th April 2014.
