‘Of Moons And Stars’ is the debut album from IOTRONICA and it is an epic “space music” journey produced in the best traditional styles first created in the late 80’s by the hugely successful USA artists like Kevin Braheny, Constance Demby, Richard Burmer and Micheal Stearns!
It’s a superb example or the style of “Space Music” that we love here at CDS Towers – and to be honest one the finest he have encountered in many years - and we believe it will be lapped up like there’s no tomorrow by the majority of fans who bought this stuff by the box-load back in the 80’s and 90’s when “Space Music” sales were at an all-time high.

With music composed and performed by IOTRONIA and production, mixing and mastering from David Wright, ‘Of Moons And Stars’ features eight interlinked tracks dominated by dense keyboard melodies, drifting atmospheric synthesizers, sweeping spacey strings, dreamy cosmic choirs & ethereal choral effects, with some occasional sequencing.

Amanda Byrne, aka IOTRONICA recorded the album at her home studio in Cornwall and according to the label her music sits comfortably between the filmic style Hans Zimmer and the “space music” style soundscapes of Michael Stearns, which kind of parallels our thoughts really, but as you can see by the names we quote above, the wider emphasis is firmly fixed in the cosmic camp of the 80’s and 90’s.

Amanda’s sound palette prepares the canvas for your imagination in a unique way. She has a very distinctive style and the music both soothes and excites as it explores the wonders of the universe, transporting the listener to the stars and beyond. UK synth maestro David Wright, also contributes synths and effects on several tracks on ‘Of Moons And Stars’ and as Amanda sites Andy Pickford and Bekki Williams as influential artists, that must mean her music is sure to appeal to fans of the traditional melodic, sequencer based electronic music styles as well.
