Originally a 2009 Remastered CD, we can now offer this 2016 2-Disc edition of the debut solo album by the GENESIS founder member & keyboard player!

Charisma Records first released the classic ‘A Curious Feeling’ album in October 1979.
Inspired by the ‘Flowers For Algernon’ novel by Daniel Keyes, it was recorded at Polar Studios in Stockholm, whilst GENESIS were on the brief hiatus that followed the ‘And Then There Were Three’ tour.

This majestic work featured contributions from drummer: Chester Thompson (a member of GENESIS for concert appearances) and vocalist: Kim Beacon.

Stylistically the album is equal to anything Banks composed for GENESIS and it includes the instrumental: ‘Waters Of Lethe’ and the song: ‘For a While’ (also released as a single) among its highlights.

Significantly, this edition of: ‘Curious Feeling’ was remixed from the original master tapes by Tony Banks and Nick Davis (who also remixed the entire GENESIS catalogue in 2007) and the result is a more dynamic sounding album.

This CD & DVD release includes a 5.1 Surround Sound Mix of ‘Curious Feeling’ and the 96 Khz / 24-Bit Stereo Mix of the album, along with the Rare Promotional Videos of: ‘For a While’ and ‘The Waters Of Lethe’. The booklet features notes by Tony Banks and rare studio photographs.
