For the 25th Anniversary of this excellent ever-reliable German EM label comes a high-quality sampler featuring Unreleased Jewels and Rare Bonus Tracks!
Spheric celebrates its 25th birthday by presenting this late 2016 compilation of rare and unreleased material, that includes 2 Rare Bonus Tracks by Joel Fajerman and Klaus Schulze!
Normally samplers can be a bit so-so to say the least, so it is really unusual to get one that includes so much quality-unreleased material on it.
The opener by Joel Fajerman - a Vangelis-like synth player/composer - known for his French film music, is a rare track from his archive, which is his debut on Spheric Music (a further release is scheduled for early in 2017). Amongst the other stuff is also a rare gem from Klaus Schulze. Label owner Lambert Ringlage said: “it was an honour to have him on board with ‘The Breeze’, a title from the long deleted: ‘Contemporary Works 1’ Box.”
Fittingly, the album ends with the earworm: ‘Silver’ by label owner himself.
A real treasure trove full of musically shimmering jewels, the album is characterized by melody, pulsating rhythms, harmonic sounds, melancholy atmospheres and the traditional sounds of the “Berlin School”.
‘Spheric Music Silver’ was released on 25th November 2016.
