‘Velocity’ is Robert’s thirty-sixth album and the result of almost forty years of musical development by the prolific Aachen synthesizer musician!

The actual term: “Velocity” refers to the pressure, speed and duration of a pressed key in an electronic keyboard instrument. This can be used to influence sounds, from very sensitive to powerful and aggressive.

‘Velocity’ provides electronic music filled with new and fresh impressions in a style that will even arouses the attention of the hardcore Schroeder fans that are already familiar with some of his extravagant excursions.
It is a very "electronic", experimental and quite varied album that will be a delightful surprise his fan-base.
The 7 instrumental sequencer-based tracks notch-up a total of over 64-minutes and as usual feature many examples of Schroeder’s typically exciting atmospheres and magnificent synthesizer solos.

Robert has already pursued the new "back to the roots" orientation for a few years, and has now come a whole lot closer to achieving this goal with ‘Velocity’ - A well-balanced first-class Electronic Music album with lots of variety, surprising atmospheres, traditional and modern electronic sounds - a delight for lovers of Synth Music everywhere.
