Following up the incredibly successful self-titled debut, this 2nd studio release from the UK Prog band is again led by veteran keyboardist John Young!
For ‘Cardington’, the LIFESIGNS line-up is made up of John Young (STRAWBS, John Wetton, Bonnie Tyler, SCORPIONS, Fish, Uli Jon Roth & others), Frosty Beedle (CUTTING CREW - drums) and Jon Poole (CARDIACS - bass). The album also features guest appearances on guitar from: Dave Bainbridge (IONA & STRAWBS), Menno Gootjes (FOCUS), Niko Tsonev (Steven Wilson) and Robin Boult (Fish & Howard Jones).
‘Cardington’ contains four shorter works and three longer pieces, one of which – the title track - tells the story of the “sheds” at Cardington, the rise and fall of Airship travel and the loss of the R101.
This CD comes in a Dig-Pak and contains a 12-Page Full-Colour Booklet and Full Colour On-Body CD Label.
