Epic synth instrumental suite that harks back to 70’s “kosmische” electronic pioneers such as TANGERINE DREAM, Klaus Schulze, Vangelis and more!

Daniel Biro first came to our attention back in 2020 when he teamed-up with Colin Bass from CAMEL for the ‘Still’ album, and again more recently in 2024 with the duo’s 2nd collaborative release ‘More’.
As always, the Progressive Synth player/composer plays all keyboards, most of them vintage analogue synths, as well as his trademark Rhodes piano on this continuous listening experience of over forty-five minutes.
As well as the aforementioned artists Biro also takes influences from 70’s Euro-jazz experimentalists.

Inspired by one of his childhood holiday destinations in the heart of the Alps, for ‘Hotel Erika’ Biro charts a journey through the upheavals of Eastern European history, presenting a personal odyssey of the mind filled with ghosts from the past, from sunlit childhoods to the dark forces of history.

‘Hotel Erika’ comes packaged in a Triple Panel Mini-LP Style Card Sleeve.

‘Hotel Erika’ is released on 22nd April 2024.
