The acclaimed ‘Electronic Circus’ concert recorded at Bielefeld in Germany in 2009 is now available on DVD!
Featuring Ian Boddy (various synthesizers / Mini-Moog), Klaus Hoffman-Hoock [aka Cosmic Hoffmann and of MIND OVER MATTER] (electric guitars / Memotron) and David Wright [also from CODE INDIGO] (various synthesizers and rhythms), this is an excellent memento of a rare artistic combination in concert!
This concert was not originally filmed for DVD release, but for a personal record of the event, so the footage is not the same as a multi-camera production, however, it is quite watchable, with front-on band and various different positional camera angles capturing the set, at times homing in on the individual artists at work from both an on stage and audience perspective.
The audio and the performances throughout are terrific, and it is why, with fans often requesting its release, the artists agreed to this DVD being made available as an 'Official Bootleg'.
For those who witnessed the event, here is the uncut and unedited concert to savour again, save for a few inserted graphics. For those who couldn't be there, here is the opportunity to see and hear these three great musicians together in concert, performing material from their collaborative and individual albums.
