musician Gandalf can be viewed as the “Mike
Oldfield” of the electronic music world, for his albums are
characterised by the solo playing of a wealth of synthesizers, electric
and acoustic guitars, keyboards, percussion, flutes and more. His
brand of fantasy instrumental music has always been noted for its
many layers and textures, but always with a strong sense of melody
at the heart of things, ranging from pastoral symphonic panoramas
to driving passages of guitars, synths and drums. A hugely talented
multi-instrumentalist, Gandalf has been releasing albums for over
twenty years now, but still remains criminally ignored by the UK record
companies, but recognising his immense talents at a very early stage
in his career, the people at CD Services have been consistently promoting
