Amazing album from keyboards driven band that is heavily influenced by the music and style of the classic seventies from ELP to YES and more in-between!

The BAROCK PROJECT really epitomizes the best of the sounds of 70’s Prog, whilst taking the genre it to a superbly well-honed new level using classy musicianship and dynamic production. They deliver every nuance of what was great about the genre back then, bringing back the essence of the time without sounding dated or tired, delivering original and expressive performances that contain similar levels of excitement as generated by the big names of the past.

For any true Progressive Rock fan the BAROCK PROJECT’s music is original and addictive bar none!
The standards of writing, musicianship and vocals are extremely high throughout, beating hands-down so many other protagonists on the well-populated current day circuit.

The original idea behind the BAROCK PROJECT was the desire to deliver the finest and perfect structures of classical music (mainly baroque) with rock-style and a little bit of jazz harmony, supported by a pop/rock structure with the declared intention to revamp the love of seventies Progressive Rock!
The end result is like a perfect binding of the Progressive styles of: ELP and YES at their finest and much more in-between such as an approximate pop/rock area being something like: IT BITES – melodic, powerful and grandiose arrangements with fantastic instrumental breaks, and even though the band are Italian…perfect English vocals!

The project founder is keyboardist / pianist / composer Luca Zabbini - His passion for famous keyboardist Keith Emerson (ELP), has fuelled his desire to compose and play a full range of styles, from classical to rock and jazz.

The musician line-up for ‘Seven Seas’ is: Alex Mari (lead / backing vocals), Marco Mazzuoccolo (electric guitar), Luca Zabbini (keyboards / acoustic & electric guitars / bass / lead & backing vocals / string arrangements / mixing), Francesco Caliendo (bass) and Eric Ombelli (drums / percussion / mandolin / sample programming), with Durga McBroom (vocals on track 11) and Francesco Cinti (sax).

‘Seen Seas’ comes in a Digi-Pak and features artwork Amanda Carden.

‘Seven Seas’ was released on 27th September 2019.
