The release includes recordings of two 2008 concerts: One in Culemborg, Netherlands and the other in Berlin, Germany, plus a Bonus recording made in Bad Sulza, Germany that same year. These performances show the three musicians deeply rooted in the tradition of the “Berlin School”.
‘Berlin-Culemborg’ is the new 2013 DVD from “EM” trio Broekhuis, Keller & Schönwälder.
Bas Broekhuis is from the Netherlands and is the driving force on electronic drums and all other percussion.
Detlef Keller is from Germany and is a several times awarded and multi talented keyboard player and creator of special sounds.
Mario Schönwälder is also from Germany and is one of our longest standing and most popular exponents of the EM genre on keyboards.
Together the trio travel deep into their own cosmos of electronic music with this DVD!
Tracks 1 & 6 were recorded at NGK church in Culemborg, Netherlands on the 1st of March, 2008.
Tracks 2, 3, 4 & 5 were recorded at Ballhaus Naunynstrasse, Berlin on the 4th of April, 2008.
Track 7: ‘Do You Remember The King?’ was recorded at Toskana Therme in Bad Sulza, Germany on the 16th of August, 2008 and is dedicated to the "Godfather of Electronic Music": Klaus Schulze.
Audio is Dolby Digital 2.0 DVD-5.
