This is one of a series of 5 CAMEL 3-DISC Clamshell Boxed Sets released over April to June 2025!

Bringing together Remasters and New Mixes of the 1972 classic ‘Mirage’ album from CAMEL, it’s a Triple Disc (2CD+Multi-Region BluRay) set that features…
CD # 1 - The Original Stereo Album Mix reproduced with High Quality Remastering by Ben Wiseman.
CD # 2 - A New Stereo Mix by Stephen W Tayler also reproduced with High Quality Mastering.
BR Disc - 5.1 Surround & Stereo Mixes by Stephen W Tayler and High Resolution Stereo Mixes.
7 Bonus Tracks (8 if you include the one on the BluRay) are drawn from 1973 Demo Session & Album Sessions.
A Clamshell Box houses the set and also contains an informative 16-Page Illustrated Booklet and Essay, with each of the three discs packaged in a Card Cover Replica of the Original Album Sleeve.

Issued in March 1974, ‘Mirage’ was the band’s first album for Decca Records (appearing on the Deram imprint) and features some of their best loved works such as: ‘Nimorodel’ / ‘The Procession’ / ‘The White Rider’, ‘Freefall' and ‘Lady Fantasy’.
Although it failed to chart in the UK upon release, it did break into the US Billboard chart.
‘Mirage’ established CAMEL as one of Britain’s best progressive rock bands and paved the way for their future success. The album was later hailed as one of the 50 Essential Progressive Rock Albums of all Time by Rolling Stone magazine.

PLEASE NOTE: BEFORE YOU ORDER ANY OF THESE CAMEL BOXES… Those of you who own the 2023 CAMEL ‘Air Born-MCA & DECCA Years’ 27-Disc Box Set will already have all the music (including the upgraded audio versions) that are featured in this Remastered Reissue Clambox series!
All 3 Discs in each of the boxes contain the amazing audio re-works for the ‘Mirage’, ‘Moonmadness’, ‘Nude’, ‘Pressure Points: Live’ and ‘Snow Goose’ albums that were part of that massive and well-received ‘Air Born-MCA & DECCA Years’ collection.
The Booklet contained in each box is obviously different but some parts of the text and images will possibly cross over with parts of the ‘Air Born’ book as well, but with these boxes you do get Mini-LP style Replica Card Covers of the original album sleeves, whereas these were not part of the 2023 ‘Air Born’ box package!

Basically, if you own the ‘Air Born’ box, these reissues are possibly really only for those of you who wish to have the albums together with their original packaging – the ‘Air Born’ discs were just slotted into pockets in a large generic folder and NOT packaged in their original sleeve artwork. These individual album boxed releases ARE, thus making them very attractive and tempting for many fans, and certainly perfect for keeping their CAMEL collections complete!
As always, this label puts a great deal of effort and thought into the quality of their re-issues and the packaging they come in, making them extremely desirable and a nice thing to have if you’re a CAMEL collector.
(Note: We can vouch for the quality of the audio mastering having already heard the versions in the ‘Air Born’ Box)

So, if you are a CAMEL fan and don’t own the ‘Air Born’ box, these mini boxes are all ESSENTIAL!
