Long awaited 2nd official album by semi-Instrumental Progressive band that are heavily influenced by the sound and style of early CAMEL music!

Although CDS did not discover the album and start selling it until March 2019, the first TELEGRAPH album ‘Mir’ was originally issued in 2017! A highly impressive semi-instrumental debut release, it became a huge selling title here at CDS Towers, appealing instantly to fans of the Progressive sound and style of early CAMEL.

Now, almost a decade down the line comes the follow-up in the shape of ‘Topography Of Mind’!
In the same way as other now famous Progressive Rock bands have based their style on their seventies contemporaries: RPWL (PINK FLOYD) and MARILLION (GENESIS), STARCASTLE (YES), TELEGRAPH paid their tribute to CAMEL with that excellent debut album: ‘Mir’, and they are continuing on with that same theme on this, their 2nd official studio album.

The TELEGRAPH line-up remains unchanged since ‘Mir’ was released, with Tal Rubinstein (electric guitars / acoustic & 12 strings guitars / vocals), Eze Sakson (Hammond organ / Mini Moog / electric piano / acoustic piano / Mellotron), Liran Herrnstadt (bass / vocals) and Avi Barak (drums / flute). This album also features guest musician Salit Lahav (flute).

Long-time CAMEL fans will enjoy the way the TELEGRAPH albums are put together. The music is consistently melodic and the arrangements are kept simple, never becoming over-stated or complex. It’s CAMEL as the fans loved them in their early seventies period … the self-titled MCA debut album, ‘Mirage’ and ‘Moonmadness’ are perfect examples.
The beautiful Latimer-esque guitar solos, analog Bardens style keyboards and touches of flute are all seventies inspired and well accomplished, with a steady rhythm section keeping things tight throughout, as the band flow through sensationally well controlled instrumental work-outs that takes the listener right back to the heady sounds of seventies Prog.

This is definitely one for fans of the time when melodic Prog began.

Here are some quotes on the new album:
“Beautiful, relaxed Prog. Instantly enjoyable. No difficult structures, time shifts or hard to get into music. Of course we recognize the roots / inspiration but that's OK with me. It is very well done. All tracks are very good, so no favourite… Great work guys!!” Robert Goyvaerts

“Israeli band Telegraph is a bit of a throwback to classic Prog blended with Psych and Space Rock. Instrumentation is the usual, guitars, bass, drums, plus synthesizers and other keyboards, and flute, with vocals as well. All of the tracks are epic in scope, as well as length on this fine release. Favourite track: ‘Topography of Mind’.” Nickie Harte Kelly:

“Fantastic guitar and synth lines. Beautiful melody. Favourite track: ‘Somewhere Along These Lines.” Ethros:

‘Topography Of Mind’ is released on or around 17th July 2026.
