Originally out on vinyl LP in 1981 on the legendary EM imprint I.C. Records, ‘Mosaique’ was produced by the label owner… the late great Klaus Schulze!

For the first time, ‘Mosaique’ is released as a real (glass mastered / pressed) CD, and it is a Limited Edition of just 500 copies!

‘Mosaique’ was Robert Schroeder’s 3rd Electronic Music album after ‘Harmonic Ascendant’ and ‘Floating Music’ and it takes us back to the sounds of the early 80’s (including the track ‘Computer Voice’).
Complemented by guitar (Charly Büchel), bass (Rob Van Dyk) and drums (Tommy Betzler), on ‘Mosaique’ Robert uses the legendary PPG Wave 2 synthesizer for the first time to create impressive atmospheres that lie somewhere between ‘Floating Music’ and ‘Cygnus-A’.

Like any previous productions, ‘Mosaique’ is characterized by Schroeder's original style and is rich in a variety of flowing sounds and melodies. Unfortunately the record company that owned the rights to ‘Mosaique’ were never able to decide on a release for the album on CD…. until today, because Robert now has the rights to release the 44 year-old work, and so it is now available for the first time as a Limited Edition “proper” CD. 2 Bonus Tracks extend the original LP version by over fifteen minutes!

The audio for this 2025 edition has been refurbished amazingly well, so now ‘Mosaique’ comes in first-class sound quality for its age! The 2 Special Bonus Tracks (‘Syntropia’ and ‘Galactical’) are amazing, and a real have“ for Schroeder fans …‘Galactical’ is worth the purchase alone!
