A new issue of the 2005 recording ‘If The World Were Turned On Its Head, We Would Walk Among The Stars’, recorded at Unicorn Studio in London!

Just after a last meeting with Bob Moog, Mark Jenkins started to build a huge modular synthesizer "El Monstruo", but while that was being completed, he modelled his entire studio in software on a G4 Macintosh.
Surrounded by a virtual Moog Modular, ARP Odyssey, OSC OSCar, Yamaha CS80, MiniMoog, Prophet 5 and a symphony orchestra, he set out to record three epic tracks ranging from 14 to 25 minutes in length … and this it that album!

The title track opens with massive CS80 clangs à la Vangelis and Klaus Schulze, and breaks into a huge Moog Modular backing. Layering multiple ratcheting sequences together, the track closes with an uptempo Jean Michel Jarre-like Theremin-led anthem.

Clocking in at fifteen minutes, ‘I Have Known The Void’ opens with the resonant sounds of some lost and forbidden cave, moving into a massive percussive multi-sequence. Fans of ‘Earth: Final Conflict’ will recognise the title quote.

The fourteen minute ‘Nutty Puppet Mayhem’ isn't exactly a light-hearted piece, but it does run some less heavyweight multi-sequences over one another, ending with a crazy banjo-led tribute to Emerson Lake & Palmer's ‘Hoedown’. ‘Nutty Puppet Mayhem’ was Episode 5 of the TV comedy series ‘Bruiser’ which brought to prominence Olivia Colman, Mitchell & Webb, and Martin "The Hobbit" Freeman.

The CD comes in Jewel Case packaging complete with colour cover photos of the El Monstruo modular system and of Mark Jenkins with Bob Moog, plus a rear insert with an alternative studio photo.
