‘Storytellers – Part 1’ was produced after Peter Jones saw an Internet challenge to conceive and record an album in the month of February 2015. Jones was then inspired to get back into the studio, but to record an album in 28 days was quite the challenge. Armed with a vivid imagination and his childhood memories, Pete has written seven tracks based on some of the classic children stories he listened to as a young boy. He has put his unique twist to such classic tales as: ‘Sleeping Beauty’, ‘The Pied Piper Of Hamelin’ and ‘The Three Billy Goats Gruff’, and for those of you who like fantastic instrumentation and stunning vocal performances, you need look no further than: ‘Story Tellers – Part 1’ or is predecessor: ‘Cocoon’

TIGER MOTH TALES is an English Neo-Prog solo project from multi-instrumentalist Pete Jones, who’s past music history has so far brought him high levels of success in other musical fields, and possibly not in areas you might expect from a musician working in the Progressive Rock field!
Peter lost his sight at an early age but quickly latched onto music as a huge part of his life. At the age of four, he had his first piano and turned his love of music into one of his primary focuses in his school years, participating in school plays, musical festivals and concerts.
In 1988, Peter won the junior final of the BBC's ‘Song For Christmas’ competition.
After school, he formed the pop duo 2 TO GO with his friend and singer Emma Paine. The pair spent the next ten years playing pop covers on the Nottinghamshire circuit and were finalists on the BBC's ‘Star For A Night’ competition in 2001 and ITV's ‘X Factor’ in 2004. The duo toured together as part of the ‘X Factor’ National Arena Tour in 2005.
In 2013, Jones began work on a concept album detailing the loss of one's childhood. Wanting to separate the new work from his pop career, he adopted TIGER MOTH TALES as the name for his debut Progressive Rock project: ‘Cocoon’, and now in 2015 he has followed it up with: ‘Storytellers-Part 1’.
