This 2015 studio album features three key former members of HAWKWIND, including original HAWKLORDS 1978 line-up… Harvey Bainbridge (synthesizers), Ron Tree (vocal and effects) and Jerry Richards (guitar and vocals) from the 1990’s HAWKWIND "Punkadelia" line-up, plus Dave Pearce from the renowned British psych-rock band: Bevis Frond.
With an approximate running time of fifty-five minutes, ‘R:Evolution’, which is described by the band as "a commentary on existence", is a completely immersive audio experience.
The artwork for ‘R:Evolution’ has been created by world-renowned graphic novel artist and writer: Al Davison.
The record also features two lyric contributions from the band's long-time colleague and contributor, the poet and playwright: John Constable AKA John Crow.
‘R:Evolution’ is released on 9th October 2015.
