Originally formed by Rob Calvert & Dave Brock (HAWKWIND) from the ashes of SONIC ASSASSINS in 1978, CDS Towers’ favourite Space-Rockers are back!

‘Fusion’, the new HAWKLORDS studio album for 2016, is described by the band as: "Exploring the themes of: Sex, Death, Art, Time and Identity". It is another sonic slab of classic British space-rock, with 'real' songs, plus a strangely beautiful electronic and glissando guitar piece from Harvey Bainbridge (synthesiser and vocals) and Jerry Richards (guitars, multi-instrumentalist and vocal).

Kim McAuliffe (from GIRLSCHOOL) guests on the album with a lead vocal on one of the songs.
Entitled ‘SR-71’ it is a wry slice of commentary regarding the once golden American Dream!
Super catchy choruses and rock 'n' roll throughout; Kim's vocal performance is stunning.
The album features the inimitable Ron Tree on lead vocals: ‘Dangerous’ Dave Pearce from British psych-rock band: The BEVIS FROND (drums) and Tom Ashurst (bass).
