1976 Virgin Label classic gets 2nd 2016 Remaster, this time on CD & LP by the German label that issued his new 2016 studio album: ‘Machines Of Desire’!
OK – This is quite strange, but never mind… Remember that Peter Baumann Reactive/Esoteric label Remaster you bought earlier in 2016? Well the album is back again on a different (German) label, Remastered by a different person and available in a Digi-Pak and on Vinyl too!
The Reactive/Esoteric (Jewelcase) copies were Remastered by Ben Wiseman at Broadlake studios in Hertfordshire. The new German imported versions (on the ever reliable, high quality Bureau B label) have been Remastered by renowned audio engineer: Willem Makkee, the Senior Tape Mastering Engineer at the Universal Recording Centre in Hamburg.
Given the kudos and awards presented to his Vinyl cutting for the highly regarded audiophile label Speaker’s Corner it's highly likely that these Bureau B releases might well have more of an analogue warmth to them … but who knows!
