Gordon Giltrap became a household name in the 70’s with his crossover and breakthrough enchanting hit (UK number 21-January 1978) ‘Heartsong’, and over the past 40 years he has played his music in pretty much every kind of venue from the grandeur of Birmingham's Symphony Hall to small venues where he relishes the challenge of having the audiences "up close and intimate".
In addition he is an Ivor Novello nominee and an MIA Music Awards winner.

For this album Gordon has teamed up with keyboardist/producer Paul Ward to record this new album.
Paul has a sizeable number of music production credits under his belt, producing music for a Christmas animation film with David Jason and a drama mini series starring Martin Kemp, but everyone from the “Electronic Music” scene will know him foremost for his instrumental solo albums: ‘For A Knave’ and ‘Fear Of Make Believe’ recorded in the 90’s for the Surreal To Real label. Paul also plays keyboards in UK Synth Music master John Dyson’s ‘live’ band, and who could forget his brilliant cover of The TORNADOES’ 60’s No.1 instrumental hit single: ‘Telstar’.
‘Last Of England’ is released on 20th January 2017.
