CDS Towers synth music customers are probably well aware of our past promotions of the German electronic music band: PYRAMID PEAK, and also our efforts to promote the incredibly exciting individual solo projects by Axel “AXESS” Stupplich, one of the two musicians involved with PYRAMID PEAK, and the guy who has brought electric guitar to PYRAMID PEAK ‘live’ performances: Max “MAXXESS” Schiefele.
You may also remember the more recent big selling album: ‘Distance’ by PYRAMAXX, a band formed by the above two artists alongside Andreas Morsch of PYRAMID PEAK.
Well, now it’s time to blow your mind with a new title from PYRAMID PEAK, one of the mainstays of the modern electronic music scene that play music in a 70/80’s style, but with a modern twist, and ‘Roots’ is another stunning example of how to present the classic “Berlin School” genre to the masses!
Blending deep, sultry atmospherics with subtle, airy melodic streams and hypnotic rhythmic sequencer patterns, PYRAMID PEAK are now just: Andreas Morsch (hardware & softsynths programming) and Axel “AXESS” Stupplich (hardware & softsynths programming). Former member Uwe Denzer has since left the band.
With lengthy track playing times and a bit of something for everyone, the genre really doesn’t come much better that this!
