In celebration of a decade since HAWKLORDS re-booted for the 21st century in 2008, the band release their 7th consecutive studio album: ‘Hawklords VII: Brave New World’.
The album is the second in a trilogy of releases and follows the band's critically acclaimed 2017 album: ‘Six’ which charted at number 35 in the Official UK Top 40 Rock Chart, and that releases was accompanied by an extensive UK tour!
Featuring former HAWKWIND members Harvey Bainbridge (synths / vocals) and Jerry Richards (guitar / vocals), with Dave Pearce (drums) and Tom Ashurst (bass / vocals), ‘Brave New World’ is an album of soaring transcendence and grinding power. It is described by the band as: “A musical treatise on Peace for these truly turbulent, transitory and unyielding times.”
The album also includes a completely new arrangement of the instrumental: ‘Flight’, a track which was composed for their 2012 album release: ‘We Are One’, and became a big hit with concertgoers at the band's live shows.
HAWKLORDS guitarist Jerry Richards said: "We had so many fans at gigs asking us where they could buy the concert version of: ‘Flight’ that we decided to re-record it in the format in which we now play it in the ‘live’ arena. We're really pleased with the way it's turned out and it's a fine addition to the rest of the ‘Brave New World’ material."
