Audio on this 2018 Remaster of ‘Phaedra’ has been drawn from original first generation masters and now features 2 Steven Wilson Remix Bonus Tracks!

TANGERINE DREAM were one of the true pioneers of Electronic and Ambient music and the albums they recorded for Virgin Records between 1973 and 1979 remain classics of the genre!
Recorded in late 1973 and first issued in 1974, ‘Phaedra’ was TD’s 5th album and their debut for Virgin Records and is indeed one of the newly founded label’s earliest releases. Being their 5th actual album, it is rightly regarded by fans as a classic and it has now had over 20 minutes of Bonus Material added for this 2019 re-issue!

This Individual CD version of: ‘Phaedra’ is one of the 7 Original Main Albums that were included as part of the highly anticipated 2019 LIMITED EDITION: ‘In Search Of Hades – The Virgin Recordings 1973 - 1979’ 18-Disc Boxed Set. This and the six other titles were released individually, along with the Box Set on 14th June 2019.

The only difference between the Box Set version and this New Single CD version is the PACKAGING!
In the Box the CD is contained in a slotted card pouch alongside the other titles, whereas this individual CD comes in a Jewel Case with an EXPANDED 12-PAGE BOOKLET and a Colourful Individual Sticker attached to the front of the shrink-wrapping

This re-issue has been Remastered in 2018 using audio drawn from the original first generation master tapes.
It contains identical audio to its Boxed Set counterpart plus the same Bonus Tracks, including the Steven Wilson Remixes.
Again, like the Box version, the On-Body CD Label is printed to match the Original Vinyl LP release.
