After re-working the band’s iconic 2006 studio album, Rob Reed has produced this new 500 Copy Ltd Edition version in a Mini-Vinyl LP style Gatefold Sleeve!

Rob Reed says: "During the preparation for the MAGENTA 20th Anniversary shows, we decided to include a large selection from the under-performed ‘Home’ album.
Having to recreate the tracks meant revisiting the original multi-tracks, which were in a mess.
Not being able to resist a 'tinker' with the tracks, I ended up re-working the multi-track, solving problems in the arrangements and adding fresh dynamics and colours.
Keeping what was good about the original - the vocals, which are amazing, but re-working the backing tracks, I added new things and then took away anything that did not earn its keep from the regional recordings. We were also very lucky to have Pete Jones (TIGER MOTH TALES / CAMEL) to play saxophone on the track: ‘Moving On’, just like he did at the recent MAGENTA 20th Anniversary Show.
The result I think is a more dynamic and atmospheric interpretation of what we were looking to achieve.

The MAGENTA line-up for ‘Home’ is: Robert Reid (guitars / backing vocals / bass / keyboards / recorder / tambourine / grand piano / mandolin), Christina (vocals), Chris Fry (guitar) and Tim Robinson (drums).
Additional musicians include: Martin Rosser (guitar), Dan Fry (bass), Alan Mason-Jones (drums on ‘Morning Sunlight’), Peter Jones (sax on ‘Moving On’), Martin Shellard (guitar on ‘Joe’ solo 1), Hywel Maggs (guitar on ‘Joe’ solo 2), Christian Phillips (guitar on ‘Moving On’) and Troy Donockley (Uillean Pipes / Whistles).

‘Home [2019 Edition]’ was released on 10th July 2019.
