‘Beyond’ is the 2nd original album from FRAGILE, the YES tribute band… and that influence is more than well pronounced throughout this album!

FRAGILE were the original European YES tribute band founded over 20 years ago in the late 1990’s.
The band became well known on the live scene thanks to many live performances and tours in Britain, Finland, Holland, Belgium & Switzerland including shows and tours with YES guitarist Steve Howe in 2005, 6 & 7, live shows with original YES guitarist Peter Banks and YES drummer Alan White and even a UK prime-time TV show with Rick Wakeman in 2011.

In February 2013 well known British singer-songwriter Claire Hamill joined FRAGILE on lead vocals. Claire has had an illustrious career as a solo singer-songwriter, but also worked with artists such as Ray Davies (KINKS), Steve Howe, Jon Anderson, Alan White (YES), John Martyn, Jon & Vangelis and WISHBONE ASH.

Following on from the positive reaction received for their debut album: ‘Golden Fragments’ in 2020, there was definitely capacity within the band to produce an album of greater scope, with the aim of developing longer form songs and musical themes ‘Beyond’ what was achieved with their first release.
Featuring songs with multiple movements and lengthy thematic instrumental sections, ‘Beyond’ is largely inspired by 70’s YES music and also has many classical and symphonic influences. The album is made up of over 50 minutes of new music in the form of 3 tracks: ‘Beyond’, ‘Yours & Mine’ and ‘The Golden Ring Of Time’.

‘Beyond’ was produced by FRAGILE and features: Claire Hamill (lead vocals) Oliver Day (guitars), Max Hunt (keyboards / bass guitar / vocals / percussion) and Russ Wilson (drums / percussion).

The CD comes in a Full Colour Slim Mini-LP style Gatefold Card Sleeve with Roger Dean-ish styled artwork (‘Prayer Pods’) by Steve Mayerson, adding a distinctive visual impact to the packaging.

‘Beyond’ was released on 27th August 2021.
