With the passing of an electronic music legend comes this lovingly crafted, stylistically authentic tribute to his music and sonic innovations!

This is a tribute album of original pastiche pieces, not cover versions and not music by the original artist.
Each sale will include a donation to kidney dialysis services in the UK.

Originally intended to accompany the 2020 biographical book on KLAUS SCHULZE in the ‘50 Years’ series, alongside matching histories of TANGERINE DREAM and KRAFTWERK, this epic tribute album should appeal to Schulze fans everywhere.

‘In Memoriam KS’ pastiches the music of one of the world's leading solo synthesizer composers, presenting his musical styles as they developed all the way from the 1970's to the present day.
A debut on drums in the early band improvisational style of TANGERINE DREAM leads into pioneering keyboard experimentation. Synth rhythms are introduced then bloom into fully-fledged up-tempo sequencer music. Other pieces show how sound sampling, operatic vocals and even techno music were later incorporated.

These recreations of pioneering musical styles through the years use authentic instruments from drums, organ and Mellotron to the MiniMoog, digital samplers and the PPG Wave.
Vocal contributions are included from long-standing KS collaborators Arthur Brown and Julia Messenger, and there's even a tribute to the "difficult" operatic music with a tremendous vocal solo by British tenor Thomas Mottershead.

‘In Memoriam KS’ is released on 16th May 2022.
